После того, как образцы ДНК попадут в биобанк, специалисты проведут их расшифровку. Затем они подготовят памятки, в которых будут указаны рекомендации, которые следует соблюдать человеку, чтобы оставаться молодым как можно дольше. Эксперты уверены, что создание такого банка в конечном итоге повлияет на продолжительность жизни местного населения. Эстония станет первой в мире страной, в которой власти будут выделять средства из федерального бюджета на подобного рода исследования.
Главной целью государственной программы является обеспечение жителей страны персональной информацией об их здоровье. Эти данные помогут снизить риски развития серьёзных заболеваний, а также повлияют на качество жизни. Каждый житель страны получит специальный генетический отчёт. Этот документ будет похож на паспорт, в котором будут указаны все данные о проведённом исследовании и выявленных мутациях. В будущем все эти данные смогут связать с той информацией, которая содержится в Эстонском национальном регистре данных о здоровье населения. В этой системе хранится вся информация о лечении каждого жителя страны.
Стоит отметить, что шансы внедрения такой программы очень высоки из-за того, что площадь Эстонии не такая большая, как у других стран и в этом государстве проживают не так много людей. Местные власти уверены, что смогут реализовать данную задумку.
